Wall standards are the most cost-effect way to add hangrails and shelves. These work best for clothing stores looking to maximize their merchandising space without going over budget. Works with most 1" slotted standard products.

These standards are installed against studs with a groove cut into them and are then sandwiched between slatwall or drywall to hide the fixture.
